Purchase Agreement and Disclosure Statement
Some folks feel comfortable reviewing the Purchase Agreement and Disclosure Statement. If that's you, great. Just remember that the purchase agreement is a binding legal document so make sure you understand it before you sign it. If there is any doubt or you don't feel comfortable reviewing these documents, it is best to seek the opinion of a Real Estate Attorney.
Disclosure Statement
In addition to the Purchase Agreement, the
home seller must also provide a Property Disclosure Statement to make the
home buyer aware of any defects and conditions concerning the property, from water damage to structural problems, etc.
